We need your help! For many URI College of Pharmacy students, attending the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists’ (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition is an important step toward their future.
This year, the need is especially significant. Already, 68 P4 students have enrolled in URI’s Residency/Fellowship Preparation Program, and many hope to attend Midyear. However, we do not have enough travel funding to support every student who wants to pursue these opportunities.

In 2024, approximately 48 URI students attended Midyear, and URI students Gabriella Mignosa, Pharm.D. '25 and Emma Van Reysen, Pharm.D. '25 earned first place in the national ASHP Clinical Skills Competition. A powerful example of what can happen when our students have the opportunity to compete on a national stage.
And Midyear is just one of many conferences where URI students present research, build professional connections, and pursue opportunities that can shape their futures.
