Rhody Racing in the Community

Rhody Racing’s impact extends beyond competition and car construction. This season,the team was featured by the University of Rhode Island’s College of Engineering for a collaboration with Brown University’s Formula SAE racing team that highlighted sportsmanship, cooperation, and a shared commitment to engineering excellence.

As Rhody Racing prepared for its first Formula Student competition, the team connected with Brown’s established program to exchange technical knowledge and insights. When unexpected circumstances limited Brown’s access to its facilities, Rhody Racing worked alongside URI’s College of Engineering to open its workspace so both teams could continue building and preparing for competition.
