URI Crew continues to prove that a student-run club sport can compete among the nation's best. At the 2026 ACRA National Championships, the Women's Varsity Eight finished 10th in the nation, while the Women's Novice Four earned an impressive 11th-place finish. These accomplishments reflect the dedication of student-athletes who balance demanding academic schedules with rigorous training and the responsibilities of managing their own program.
Despite competing at a national level, URI Crew relies heavily on membership dues, fundraising, and the generosity of alumni, families, and friends. Contributions help cover essential expenses including boats, equipment, maintenance, regatta fees, and team travel, while reducing the financial burden on our student-athletes.
