URI Sailing is raising $28,000 to purchase new sails, a critical investment in maintaining a competitive fleet and providing our student-athletes with the equipment they need to succeed. With exposure to the elements and the demands of collegiate racing, sails experience significant wear and require regular replacement.

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000! That means a $100 donation becomes $200, a $250 donation becomes $500, and a $500 donation becomes $1,000 toward our goal.

As a student-run club sport, URI Sailing depends on the support of alumni, families, friends, and the broader sailing community to fund major equipment purchases like this one.
